After many years, Nutcracker: An American Nightmare, the independent feature

http://www.netflix.com/Movie/Nutcracker_An_American_Nightmare/70103362?lnkctr=srchrd-sr&strkid=1442731518_0_0I have to say Netflix to me is like the best thing since sliced bread, so its kind of an honor to be in their catalog.
So those who haven't seen our movie can now get a chance to rent it via the web.
But... let us all remember, of course, that Nutcracker: An American Nightmare, isn't Citizen Kane (as some of the reviews will lean toward)... it's probably more akin to Plan Nine from Outer Space... but the point is... sheer willpower, tenacity, dogged determination and faith will create a real, finished feature film out of an absolute zero budget. It was a team effort from all involved, and I still enjoy certain parts of the movie to this day, as I hope you will too. The actors and crew were a joy to work with and the experience will live in my heart forever.
The experience caused a much needed haitus/sabbatical in the time since its release until the time of starting my next project, the three picture Hurting Kind horror franchise (written by the extremely talented Duane P. Craig, author of the intense zombie apocalypse Hold, and director of the newly released silent horror feature Cruel). I will be bringing all the positive elements from my Nutcracker experience to the table... building on what did work, recent research and study, and also positive industry experiences since then, such as the THK trailers which I have shot locally here in this fascinating town of Shreveport, known as Hollywood South... and all the valuable wisdom people have given me over the years.
So, take care, and see you at the movies (as Ebert says),
